Spent a very pleasant time here. Lots of local history and exhibits, and lots of wandering in nooks and crannies. Only downside is that I couldn't figure out how I was going to sneak out with that genuine birchbark canoe. Need bigger pants...

This. This place is alot bigger when you get inside. There are great summer programs for kids and daily activities. Great for a rainy day morning after breakfast. This area has a huge rich history of logging. I have a place on the burnt river off of Fell Station Rd. Which was one of the stops on the old railway line. I learned a great deal more than I knew already from personal research.
